Oh, and I'd also like to comment on the complexity of this - you've been here for two weeks, but you MUST have been using Apophysis longer than that.

I've started making flames in December (last month). I have not done much else ever since (I get obsessed like that) ;).
I understood it quite quickly since I know (somewhat) what fractals are, and tutorials on here made the learning curve much smoother.
I also have experience in 3D software and Photoshop, which helps a lot.
